INEC Headquater in Akure Ondo state Raised By Fire

The INEC Headquarters in Akure Ondo State was reported caught fire in late evening on Thursday. According to the Eyes witness of the incident, no one can explained the cause of the fire, they explained that the fire started when they had closed their office on Thursday night. The fire caused many damages in that building because all the card readers they are preparing to use for the forth coming governorship election in the state were all damaged by the fire. When omsews contacted the director of voters education in Akure on telephone he confirmed the incident and also told the people of Ondo state not to panic that the fire that got the state headquarters of INEC cannot stop the election that is very much at hand. He told omsnews reporter Elom Victor that they must be way out of the card readers that were damaged in the fire out break in the office. When he was asked on how to go about the card readers, he said that there is a way out he said that INEC in Ondo State will bring in card readers from other state to conduct the election. Mr. Festus Okoye who is also the National commissioner in Ondo state told Ondo people that situations is under control. He urge them not to panic that INEC will conduct free and fair Election in Ondo when the time reach. At the time of this report the men of fire service is doing their best to find out that the fire was put off.
